So Is There An Hidden Agenda To Be A DP Post Wh0re?

I mean, sure there's boredom which engulfs the best of us to make some posts here & there, but seeing how many of us are already aware of the fact that spiders crawl thru most of this site and more posts here would kind of = more exposure... is there an hidden agenda for some of us to like, post more in here then in any other site that isn't as Google friendly (and more of us in here are more SEO hungry then the average interneter... and yes that is a word I'm putting in a dictionary :p)?

C'moooon... this is the time to be honest... but if you do come here and insist that your 1000 posts per day average is a result of the great fountain of knowledge in this site... then I'll believe ya (*snickers*) :D

Some people like to chat more than do work, I think thats what it boils down too... I find that DP has been a huge distraction to me at some points, but I don't think I could live without it ;)

Heh, ok sites like this do have addictive qualities I feel ya there. For me it's going through some threads to see what good gems of knowledge can be gained that I can easily apply that can eventually lead to one quadrillion web surfers a day :D

Main question is though... anyone posting here just to throw out their sig links or link back to profile automatically (which do add to profile PR I guess?). or do you suspect that at least a few members are posting with this incentive in mind? ;)

I'd rather waste time posting in here than some other things that I really should do.

Although I do post in here partly because I know it gives my site better exposure (and some backlinks). Also cause the BST section...whenever I want something for my site(s) I just go in there and if I need help with something I know it'll be answered quickly in any of the help sections. So overall it's a pretty decent forum.

Wow...you signed up in 2006 and only have 100 odd posts? I wouldn't say your a post whore in here :)

The BST section is bascily why I joined, I needed some link exchanges and some other things.

If you're posting here just for the SEO "link juice" you get from your signatures then ... well, that's not a very good use of your time. I suppose if you are able to make money off of the direct DP traffic then I could see doing it for that reason, otherwise... Well, and even then, it seems like you could make a better use of your time.

Mostly I post here as much as I do because I get a bit addicted to message boards in general. A very bad habit. I don't think it's a good use of time :) but that isn't stopping me, ... yet

Yeh its not worth it just posting for signautre links. The market to buy them is dying.

I just post here a lot when im not working.

It's fun. You are part of a community and there are loads of very intelligent people to be found in forums. It's a great way to do research on almost anything you can think of. So what if your signature link gets backlinks then? If you contribute, then what's the harm in that?
