This is what he is trying to tell that there is no company URL etc as he is using account just to send funds to a relative. Anyways MB started messing with people now and they will have to pay for it.
maybe he made a mistake when he registered and chose merchant account instead of personal account i don't know and i also hope that your problem with Moneybookers gets solved Cheers Adel
Hi. Our accounts were personal accounts. The transaction (£7,800) was sent between the accounts in the same day. Our limits were at least twice this amount. We withdrew the money to the bank account the same day too and it arrived 6 days later. But having received all these e-mails from them in the meantime we were so stressed that we may have lost the money! After reading all these posts, I realize we were lucky to have done everything the same day. And if they can reverse the money from the bank account back to the moneybookers account, I will ask my sister to close her bank account immediately.
i am not sure if they can reverse the money back but i think they can't and just an advice : if you want to send a big ammount of money better use WesternUnion or bank transfer they will charge some some fees but it's more safe Cheers Adel
wow i didnt even know MB did stuff like this... especially when they are saying basically to not even try to contact them. Although paypal sucks at least there is some kind of redeeming process.
Yup. I agree with you on that point. PP has the option to withdraw your fund after 180 days. I guess that, along with many others, is the reason most people prefer Paypal over MoneyBookers
MoneyBookers stole my money. They are not responding to my emails, to my complaints, to anything, for weeks.
well, after thinking alot i think it is secure to not put trust leaving a big amounts of money on any place but i want to say that i am sure they wont steal the money, they will may be repay it somehow it is all about all their reputation
I agree. I doubt they'd just confiscate everything without a good reason. They'll definitely get back to you guys with more info
I've read this topic and seems I have same problem. I am with you against moneybookers, the more scammed customers join and help each other, the easier we take down that whores !
If you think that a few webmasters ranting about MB on DP is going to affect their reputation, or bring them down, then forget it. Just like any other company, the number of unhappy customers is a mere minority... which is often ignored. I'd suggest you all wait, be patient, and call them up. Be consistent. Don't stop calling them up. They'll definitely respond.
Bad experience with MB too, my MB account get blocked without any reason from MB, I had been email them but they never reply my email. After that, I had been call MB, they told will be reopen my account again after 2 days from my calling, but until now they have not reopen again my account, now it was 4 days after I calling them.
then try to call them again don't give up i am sure they have reasons for what they are doing just try to call them again and i hope your problem will get solved
I don't think they have reasons, they are just taking down accounts randomly saying they violated terms but they can't provide a proof how someone violated their terms huh. Idiots
I insist that you call them up again. They can't hang up on you, so they'll definitely provide you with more details
After reading this thread I have to assume that this Moneybookers company is nothing more than someone's scam vehicle. I would suggest that everyone who has had a problem with them and lost money, or can't get access to the money in their MB accounts get together and hire an attorney. It's amazing how quickly a law suit can get a company's attention. I know it sucks, I hate lawyers, but in a situation like this they're exactly the kind of SOB you need.
