The work of the SandBox filter results in new sites being absent from search results for virtually any phrase. This even happens with sites that have high-quality unique content and which are promoted using legitimate techniques. SandBox is a filter that is applied to new sites. A new site is put in the sandbox and is kept there for some time until the search engine starts treating it as a normal site. ----------------------------------------- IMHO i dont believe that there is a sandbox..why? i have a couple of new sites and done SEO initiatives before doing the site and after the site is created.. and then what? a couple of weeks im seeing traffic from search engines..i may be not on the top for a keyword but im visible in the serps..

It is Google's way of filtering new sites to prevent site spamming and other black hat methods. Just be patient and use white hat methods.

Is My Website in the Sandbox? .............Not sure how to confirm that, but if your site rank well that mean it is not in the Sandbox.
I have heard that article submission helps new web sites get out Sendbox faster. Is it true? Question to the SEO specialists.
try and experiment.. create a basically a new site as in new! put your targetted keywords on your title tags create your meta tags create a content with your keywords submit your site to directories and social bookmarking sites create a google webmaster tool wait until google crawled your site. to check if you are crawled go to your webmaster tool or just simply search to google site:http://www.mysite.com check your backlinks with google by searching link:http://www.mysite.com now if you see that your site is crawled and has backlinks on it try to search the exact keywords on your title tag. this will show you that new sites are not really filtered by google
If you have new site and you collected somany links in short period or doing extra effort on your website, using keyword stuffing and use black hat then google add your site in sendbox. Now your next question is how would you know about this, In this case your site will not cache by google regulerly as it was and it not move next page on google. Or if you have old good ranking site and suddenly its ranking falling and it moves page 1 to page 7 and stey between page 7 to page 10 then its indication that you are in google send box.
