I own an Adsense Account. I want to a website which deals with the concept of “How to Earn from Adsense?†This website carries 20pages-Some of the pages are: Traffic, Keywords, Blogs, Adsense, Adwords,E-bay,Clickbank,Surveys etc etc… My doubts are: Related to Google Guidelines/Permissions: Doubt # 1: Should I get prior permission from Google to use these terms—Google,Goolgle Jobs, Google Adsense,Google Adwords,Google SiteMap, Blogger, PageRank simply as text in my site’s content? Related to CTR: Doubt # 2: Suppose 300 visitors come to my site daily. My site carries 20 pages.Among 300 visitor,100 visitors see a particular page-Traffic.html in my site. All 100 click an Ad in that page. How CTR is calculated for my account? Then those 300 visitors randomly visit 15 pages/visitor, so totally 4500visits a day.And they totally yield 600clicks in total/day.Then, CTR is calculated on this base? Else CTR is calculated the total clicks/total visitors in all 20 pages for a whole month? Simply, suggest me how CTR will be calculated for my account? I am totally confused all about the calculation of CTR. Doubt #3: What range of CTR leads to ultimate cancellation of my account?
So let me get this right... You are making an Adsense "How To" site, but you don't know what CTR is? Good luck to you then. And IMO this is one of those questions I'd have googled, rather than asking here, which totally makes you look like an ... whatever, I'll leave that out. EDIT I'll be nice and post the answer: CTR of a page is Clicks / Impressions And don't bump!
More precisely, CTR is Clicks / Page Impressions or, stated another way, the percentage of visitors to your page who clicked on an ad on that page. CTR can go up if the same visitor clicks on more than one ad on the same page. You can see the effects of changing the CTR by using the calculator in my signature beow.
You have to get written permission if you want to use Google Trademarks on your websites. Try not to use AdSense in your domain name for your AdSense site. For more information, read this
Is there a calculation for hits per day related to earnings, I'm sure there is I just don't know the name nor how to calcaulte it, and it relates to click price. So for example if I got 2,000 hits per day and was making $200 per day, what would my statistic be? I'm writing some ads programs and need to know this. Hopefully something that they can relate to, that isn't specific to Google Adsense.
brother your account will be never banned by google if your CTR is genuinely obtained not in a fradulant way.. I have personall experienced a huge CTR from last one year but never banned by the google even they never complained me.... Actually High CTR is indicator of Targetted traffic and fine placement of adsense code on your website.. Hope Helpful Regards Mudassar
That is make me better now. Sometime one of my channel has 100% CTR for 1 visitor ($1.24/click). But after receive 3 visitor CTR become 33.3% without additional click. Its to bad my traffic is poor and visitor came from adword only.
DP is full of ass wholes who say shit to people for not knowing something, but then dont explain it either. And then you have the ones that say "give em a break" but say lol before that anyways. And then theres me, who has had both things happen and also doesnt know the answer.
Yeah thats true.. i dont know why people don't like sharing their experiences thats kind of messed up i always try my best to help out some new ppl here
This is not a great thing to worry at all. CTR is Click Through Rate.... Here Goes the calculations.. CTR = Total Number of Impressions / Total Clicks Impressions = not visitor or unique visitor. It can be taken as page loads. CLicks = No. of clicks in the Ad. Pls. : I dont recommend you to start a site on how to earn money from adsense and put adsense ads in it. Because most of the people who come to your site will know about adsense and they will be cautious enough not to click the ads. Try something different like consumer products. Think like a consumer adn not a web Admin. Cheers
CTR = Impressions / total clicks It indicates the percentage (%) of people viewing the ads , that actually click on them. So let me be more clear , because I have seen many equations around this thread some people might just not understand. If you site has 10.000 impressions , that means (x number of your visitors) viewed your ads 10.000 times. It can be either 3 people or 3000 people or more. If you CTR is 4% that means at 10.000 impressions you gained 400 lucky clicks. I just did it the other way around so people can understand better. And digger07 , "I steal money from Google Adsense" is a total #$#@@ , you can never have a CTR of 60.80 in an adwords campaign , and CPC of 0.02 is very rare. LoL
CTR stands for clickthrough rate, and in the simplest form, it is the number of clicks an ad receives divided by the number of times the ad, ad unit, or page is viewed. In other words, it is the percentage of how many clicks an ad received (based on how many views it received). Therefore, the higher the CTR is, the better the performance is (ie: a larger number of clicks an ad/ad unit receives).
You should focus on making it the hard way instead of trying to cheat your way to the gold. Hard way = cash cheat = trashcan
In other words, impressions are results of people viewing pages that have Adsense ads posted on them. It does not necessarily mean that the visitor(s) actually clicked on the ads which would then be your CTR.
