Affiliate Summit West 2008 - Who Goin?

hey guys trying to see who is all going to the affiliate summit west in vegas in febreuary, I am trying to network and meet up people up there ahead of time and I will be there a day early as well.

I trying to network with people on the affiliate summit social network but its rare for anyone to be on there. so I am trying to see who is all going and I want to know where the parties at, since I heard this year there will be few parties at this affiliate summit this year.

so you going to ASW 08? and where the parties at!

I'd love to go to Vegas for a few days and especially to such a meeting but hopefully sometime in the future!

 

This is my first year attending the Affiliate Summit. I am looking forward to it.

 

its possible I might be able to make it... I am booked for SMX west and SXSW and also a financial conference all right around there but I might make a quick appearance.

 

I think it would be great but is it really worth the 1Kplus to go to the presentations?

I will be there a day early and a day later I have friends that move to vegas after high school

 

you should have fun - its a big chance to network and party with marketers lol

If you're a newbie, then sessions are for you. If you have been around for a while, then socializing usually gets more done as far as private deals are concerned. Probably meeting some of the various programs is a good thing to, but sitting through a bunch of sessions if you have good knowledge of most areas....nah

one of my friends says its like semi fall/spring weather in february - I will definitely see the weather channel prior to going there, make sure I have the proper attire

Looking for 3 females to share room at Affiliate Summit

I am going to the summit because I worked for the Affiliate Summit booth at the ad:tech event in NYC last November, in exchange for the pass. So I know Shawn, Missy and Ami. I loved working for them. I will do it again, if they let me. They are great people! I can’t wait to join them and the “WHOLE” group of affiliates, coming to Vegas. Thank God for that! I am sooooooooo happy!

I booked my room at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino for three nights (Under the same roof, lol), and now I am looking for 3 females to share the room. (The hotel allows 4 people in the room)

Again, 3 females to share a non-smoking room at Rio All Suites – Las Vegas. 3 nights - check in February 23 and check out February 26.

The 2008 Affiliate Summit special conference rate is $159.00 (2 people + tax = $ 173.31).
The rate for 4 people is $219.00 + tax = $238.71.
So…3 nights at $238.71 = $716.13, and divided by 4 people = $179.04 FOR THE THREE NIGHTS.

I was going to go but my trip to India was scheduled around the same time so I wont be able to go this time. Next time though.

Maybe I can go next year, unfortunately, I just officially got started in affiliate marketing a few months ago and am trying to clear some debt up first before having fun with my money...
