Google has banned me today. When I sign into my account I get this message. "Your AdSense account for this login is currently disabled. We recommend checking your email inboxes for any messages we may have sent you regarding your account status. Sometimes our messages can be caught by email filters, so please be sure to check the Bulk/Spam folders of your email accounts as well. If your account was disabled for invalid click activity, please visit our Disabled Account FAQ for more information. " They are not quite clear on why I have been banned. I have never clicked any of my ads at all. I recently sold a website that was making $120/day via adsense, so my earnings have dropped since the sale that took place a week ago. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it. What is most upsetting is that I have a "large" check that was suppose to be relased by Google on January 26th. If the check is not released to me, they will be hearing from my attorney. They probably get served with a lot of lawsuits. However, I don't care how much money it takes to get my check, I will do it.
Litigation costs, Google had company lawyers, I would say theirs a sunk cost. You will be paying through your nose to sue them. Also their TOS basically leave you no way of suing them.
A lot of times I was saying that myself, but keep a level head, you aren't going to win them and even if you do, you will bankrupt yourself doing so. It is a $300 billion dollars company btw.
Thats great they lifted the ban. I am sure was a mix-up from after selling your other site. O well, back to checking your adsense stat's daily now.
absolutely its like hitting your head against the wall. Your head hurts and you know nothing happens to the wall.
Did you ever find out why they banned you? I've heard of this happening a lot and am worried it could to me.
LOL so true! There is NO way you can sue google , even if they are wrong. They have so many lawyers and money that they would squash you, they could get away with so much and DO. Tyler
I emailed them, and 5 days later they email me and said they are escalating my case, well 2 hours after i recieved the email saying that my account was active again. They did not clearify what had went wrong.
