Pointless thread. The thread starter made no reasonable arguments about the "end of google".

I don't really think Google's going to "end" anytime soon. I'll wait for the first decent AI-powered search engine before I speak though.

Thanks for your theory :) Big firms has changeable strategy for hard probability. Yes Google has got nice bots but Google ceos and engineers are human. Google will change strategy with humanist changings. We will get to hell with Google :)

    Regards.

Google ending - not for years ahead. I'll make it simple for you - think of when you tell someone to search for something, what do you tell them to do? Google it. That right there, is amazing. We've converted the word "search" into "Google" because of how much it has influenced modern society and culture. You never heard or will hear someone say "Yahoo it, MSN it, etc..

Plus, they have hugely funded think tanks that have thought of every one of these ideas, and about a trillion more to cover all bases. They definitely aren't going anywhere soon - which is good!

You must be joking bro - If Google dies perhaps Internet has evolved to something different. Yet I believe Google will follow suit!

i dont think it will ever "end". somebodys always going to still be using it, but I think that not as many people will be using it when a new, and better search engine comes up

I doubt stocks will effect Google much.

when Microsoft acquires Yahoo (if they ever do), then it will get tough for Google
