That might be, but auctionads also takes out a chunk of your commissions and you don't have complete control over your ad unit. With my script you get 100% commissions and control all aspects of the ad unit and can monitor all of the data.
I've made over $300 with auctionads and I can't get my payment because I'm not in a paypal country. I hope they will offer other payment methods in the future.
Exactly Joey! Using something like this guys script would only result in lower commissions and as an added bonus you also have to PAY him for your lower commissions. Sounds like a sweet deal.
it was not too long ago that people were complaining about a huge drop in reporting/stats from AA. If that is still going on, then I'm sure that many may make the claim, that a lower payout, but getting %100, may actually work out... Though, erm, heh... to each their own I guess. I'm not switching, as Shopping Ads is simply easier, and I'm not really using them to generate cash, but rather to accent an occult classifieds board on my forum. I've had them up for months, and have not hit the first payout yet, and my impression suck...so the fact that SA is mostly up (now) and it's what suits my needs/wants, it's good enough for me (though I'll still complain a bit). What I do not like is the fact that someone is in this thread pimping a competitor script *shrug* IMHO, it's hijacking... If there is a thread on the script, and if the script was worth it, it should be getting at least some bumpage without the need for disrupting the flow of other thread... heh, there are enough troubles listed in this thread without the need to add in more
Wow.... Since they switched to ShoppingAds, it keeps saying my balance is $3, while I have $50+ there... I tried contacting support several times and no replies....
I got a payment few days ago. All their stats are messed up and they don't reply to any support emails
They have both. The CPA ads are ebay ads and only pay by sale. The CPC ads pay by click. You can choose one or the other.
Promote it like any other site... Start on the page itself (content) and then get the link out. No one knows, they are not talking, not replying to emails, not approving comments on their blog, not updating their FAQs to include AA information, and according to many not giving full stats in their reporting. It does not really push logic that far for one to think they just may be skimming off the top.
Well, I dropped out when they raised the payout rate. It's not pushing logic to think that they are using "other people's earnings" under the threshold either. AA is a big waste of time, but a good learning experience.
auctions ads has been a big joke, all my clients that have tried it, have also dropped them AA should just close down, there are mush better ad programs out that pay much much better
I have had very little success with AA. I much prefer using targeted affiliate offers on my sites and blogs.
