I've got to salute you, that's pretty darn good. Maybe you should earn some more money by offering to show your success or some of your techniques to others. :) Good luck ;)

If I've followed Volks postings correctly - all of that is Profit. However he would have spent upwards of $11,000 on that day to make the $5,000.

That's the dilemma many newcomers to PPC face. How to find the operating capital required to invest into paid PPC adv. with Google and MSN for starters - until those magical commissions start to roll in.

For example Commission Monster over here in Australia hold payments back for 60 days. So January's earnings don't reach us until April... that's not too encouraging for a newcomer.

Jonathan, kindly share how one might overcame the hurdle of not having access to endless capital? Any ideas for raising such capital. Not all folks have bottomless credit cards:)

    cheers

I am just going to build it up. I am starting with $100, and I have made about $800. After the $800 comes, I will use that for promoting. And so on, and so on ...

You can't start with thousands and make thousands (well, most people), you need to start with what you have.

Start a blog, and try to make money with that (blogs are so cheap). Then the money you make from that, invest in PPC. There are a ton of ways to make money online, you just need to find your niche.

    Congrats on the new milestone.

The startup process monetarily is always the hardest when you don't have much money in the beginning, and hopefully when Affiliate Unleashed is open you will address that issue.

I started the question on how to raise capital so we get answers from professional PPC marketers in particular.

The problem with raising capital is not mine - I have blogs that are over 6 years old. Rather it is such a frustrating issue for new affiliate marketers. But I will open a new thread on the topic when I earn my wings and can post freely here.

Wow. Congrats... If you could just PM me on how you did that Step - by - Step. Hahaha...

I wish. Congrats. I am just starting a new niche myself (computer monitors!), so I hope it works out for me like it does for you!

Professional PPC marketers already have a ton of capital to work with, so good luck getting answers from them.

And thanks for acting like my answer was junk.

It can't be all profit because it's PPC traffic. You have to pay the search engines that brought you that traffic. So anything from 30-60% ROI is great.
About building capital,if you have regular job, than you probably have some cash on the side.Use it wisely with not spending too much for testing niches. If you start testing with Adwords you will lose more than if you start testing with YSM. Why? When building campaign with AdWords, you will need to group your keywords very tightly to have great quality score. You will also add no more than 20-30 keywords per adgroup to achieve this quality score.Thats very small amount of keywords to start testing an offer if you are new in PPC marketing. With YSM you can add up to thousand keywords per adgroup and still get good traffic with low bids.

If you have zero capital to start, than the best way to start is with writing and submitting articles to article engines, with your link going to your landing page. This is free traffic.

Collecting your earnings is different with the networks. I think that the best way to start with PPC is to promote CPA offers. Almost all networks are paying there affiliates on monthly basis. It also depend on how much you make.If you are good affiliate, than you can request for net15 payment and from couple of weeks ago,Copeac start paying on weekly basis if you are making $1000/week.

I hope this helps a little:)
