Why do people get banned here?

I just saw tha W3bmaster was banned. He had about 9000 + posts, 35 itrader and millions of rep points!

How did he get banned?
Are you IP banned or can you come back with another nick?

 

you get infarctions for not following rules..

if you accumulate 10 infarction points, you get banned.
infarction points expire after 1-3 months so you come back again.

 

If W3bmaster was back with another nick, we'd recognize him by his spelling.

 

People get banned for not obeying the rules!

It's for established members only,I guess.

 

I think you should be able to redeem yourself and trade som rep points against infraction points. or maybe give some money to charity...

Usually people will get banned because of sexual harassment or some form of gang bashing of another member, these days they are the two most common causes of bans in dp

 

So simple: They don't obey the rules

Mainly due to infractions, but people can also get banned due to making duplicate accounts.

You can still give rep to w3bmaster, which indicates that his ban is a temporary one, and he will back soon.

I'm from a small town called Peñiscola (shut up, lol!). That's between Barcelona and Valencia, at the coast.

There are many reasons, and creating stupid threads like these dont help you not get banned

 

I hope you get 9 infraction points for saying my thread was stupid and 1 infraction point for smilies abuse... MOD, sort this guy out please!

Funny, people sent me reps for that reply because they know it to be true

This guy needs to know that he is only asking for trouble.

 

I never want to be ban on DP. I am kinda addicted to DP and I'm loving this forum a lot.
