You need to consider how much you would earn (over a year for instance) with this small amount of money. For 20$ even with 12% annual return you will earn 2.4$ in interests. Is it worth the hassle, risks and fees? Definitely not, better keep it in your bank account
Well said. I've always considered offline investments a much better option. A huge problem with online investment sites is that most of them just flat-out scam you. You can never know if a website is legit even if you have the biggest of companies vouching for them. So, always exercise caution when looking to make an investment online. Better yet, don't... let the money generate interest from your bank account itself, which is way better for you.
Thanks for your response. I have some money in my PP account. So I thought of investing it some place, where I can take back my money anytime. I am not ready to take a big risk by investing my complete earning. So I thought of first studying the market and if it is viable and something that I find interesting, then I will invest more. I am a noob as far as investment is concerned, so I don't want to loose my entire earning. Further money in Paypal account is dead money. Even if I can get $1 from it, then isn't it better than letting the money stay in my account?
Anyway...your question is right...a lot of people has money in paypal...and if there is a good investment option I think many will take it...beyond the risks....

Well, I know making money isn't that easy and won't fall for such offers. I am not expecting to become a multi millionaire with this small investment, because I know it is not possible. You should honestly put that money in a growth oriented mutual fund. Depending on your age and how long you do this for, it could add up to a significant amount of money. At least, that's what the Wealthy Barber would say!
