Beware of hostgator!!

    Yes.... I'm very sorry to say Hostgator ruined my business.
    I've signed up for a baby shared hosting 2/3 weeks ago, I hosted one of my site which had medium traffic. Suddenly i got a mail from hostgator abuse team, they wrote my hosting is using too much resources, so they shut the hosting down. Ok fine... I thought i need to take a dedicated server, so i ordered a dedicated server 2 days ago, they asked for my credit card scanned copy, govt. id, i sent those things,contacted to live support, called them by phone 5 times.... But the ultimate result is zero! not zero actually, they just suck my 500 dollars! want to know how? they canceled my baby shared hosting, 100 $ GONE, They didn't setup my standard dedicated server yet, 200 $ ( !!??? ) , and they sent me another invoice for 200 $ , WTF!!! They showed me they are setuping two dedicated server for me!! But what the hell i do with 2 dedicated servers? And who told them to setup 2 servers for me? I've ordered one dedicated server. And the most horriable thing is, they didn't mail me any server login information yet. I'm losing o.3 millions users a day. Hostgator just FU***KED ME UP BADLY. I HATE HOSTGATOR.

    I'm sorry that that happened to you.

    I suggest you do chargebacks against all transactions made by HostGator and go with a reputable company :)

    Wow. That sucks. There was probably a mistake or something. Im sure if you open up a support ticket and provide all the information you could get this sorted out.

    You ordered the dedicated 2 days ago? And your complaining? Seriosly, you will get a refund for the Baby package as your inside their monthly money back guarantee! Second of all i would say that the second 200$ invoice is just a mistake or mixup by staff or their system!

    But 2 days ? I think your over reacting in this situation, give them a chance to actually process your order! And Cameron, yes Hostgator is a reputable hosting company! Actually one of the biggest and best reputabled hosting companies... Most people who deal with hosting, know about Hostgator and what it is! Count's for something eh? ;)

    fREDDY DUDE, I'm not over reacting. 1 day is very important for me. and the fact is they told me it wont take more than 4/5 hours to set it up by phone. so I expect it from HG
