I bought a report on creating proxy site some time ago which states average earning per proxy at $3 per day from adsense and popunders is this about right

Also, @mdbradle and kaung (or anyone who knows), how do you have the actual Google Group set up? It seems theres a lot of other options for discussions, allowing members to post and invite, etc. Thanks again

for me, i do not allow posts by members.
but they can receive email, join the forum, view threads.

they can view once they signup but no posting allowed.

 

Why not let them post,
What if they have a question or feedback?

 

if there is any possibility for adding up referral banner from any others site rather than adsense, adbrite? perhaps from CB, CJ? is it possible???

 

58 clicks and $5.50 so far with my proxy website (6 days old). Not great at all.

 

That also means those people who first came to your site may not return to your site.

you can put cj ads on a proxy but remember cj is an affiliate company and proxie s and tracking cookies dont mix well without doing some work.

 

It's possible that all of them would get blocked but not necessarily. Depends on the blocking that is done.

Typically, you get a proxy network. I have a network with 6 domains with the same name... meaning xxx.com, xxx.net, xxx.org, xxx.biz, xxx.ws, xxx.us

 

Interesting idea using the same name with a bunch of extensions. Hadn't really thought of that before to that level. Do the less common extensions get used?

 

does this means we can apply any programming methodology for mixing things up? does this cost big bucks? bdw, seems adbrite and adsense are only the option have left so i quite confused how people can generate tons of cash by using this 2 options.. unless they have 100 proxy sites than thats why some are depressing about the click they had on their proxies..

any inputs?

 

I'm interested in starting a proxy site. Can you proxy owners help me out with what the best script(s) is the best so I don't waste my time with ones that suck. (

(Suck as in use a lot of server resources, blocked, or don't have that many features)

I'm interested in something that I can really grow and pimp a lot to become a huge proxy site.

I suggest PHProxy, as you can find quite a few free templates that are already coded.

 

I would use the glype proxy script. It is pretty much the best script. Has a good theme system, cache, hotlink protection, etc. There is more info at the site. It's compatibility with sites is better than PHProxy too. You won't be wasting your time.

 

Im not sure what you mean by any programming methodology.

Adsense and adbrite arent the only ones out there(there are quite a few) but those are the main ones and unless you are doing something horribley wrong there is no reason you shouldnt make at least 2/day (huge underestimation) per proxy from those two source 5/day is a normal number if you have good traffic. so you dont have to have 100 sites 10 will do.

 

Someone posted, you can't use in-line ads on proxy-pages with Adbrite?

Is that true

Secondly, can we use Widgetbucks with Adsense and on proxified page?
