What can you buy with a dollar in you country?

In Dubai...

A large bottle of coke. Three small packets of chips. Two eggs. An apple.

There are loads of things available for a buck USD here

 

can't even buy a can of soft drink in my country with $1

1 12oz name brand can of soda from a retail vending service, 4-8 cans of named or un-named brands. A small bag of chips, a crappy microwave pizza or a smaller than kids size fast food hamburger.

You can buy LSD for 50p/$1 too, 16 hour trip for a dollar, bargain.

 

Must be around a can of coke, or you can buy one thirth of a short range (i'm talking about 5-10 Km) bus trip ^^

 

in india i can only buy two packs of condom... or one mountain dew but have to add few more bucks... since dollar value dropped badly from 46 INR to 37 INR

Hmmm interesting. I can buy one 0,5 l coke (but it always costs more) or i can buy a chewing gum.
You can't buy a litre milk or a beer with one buck. It costs around $1.5.
Talking about Hungary.

 

$1 = €0.68. A can of OB cola..

 

for 1 dollar you can get a bowl of noodle with any can of softdrink you like.
or you can pay to use the internet in the cafe for about 2-3 hours.

 

A dollar in my country isn't worth much anymore (Trinidad). What can you get? 4 mints? Most snacks cost at least $1.50TT here so anything below that is probably under packaged or just not worth it.

Well I can Buy

- A Pizza in $1.
- 2X500 Ml Pepsi or Coke
- 40 candies.
- 1 L Disel

- 2*500 ml Pepsi. (It'd cost few more cents though).
- 3 and half packs of Lays.

Ah.. That is all coming to my mind at the moment.

 

I cant even buy a pack of gum with $1. In the US.
