Well this might sound a bit stupid but here goes..
Its only recently that I've really foudn the value of SEO. I've ranked high in google, but never really understood how to get there. Now I have a few sites each getting a few hundred to a few thousand clicks a day from google.
I'm ranking high for the terms on the site.

My question is, how much content - if any - can I change, without putting my ranking in jeopardy?
Same goes for ads - can I place ads on the site?
Should I just not touch the site anymore?

Thing is I really haven't put ads on any of these sites - yeah, a few thousand hits a day can get some money, but I was concerned with traffic building first.

So any help here would really be appreciated! Its taken me a while to get the sites here, so I'm trying to make sure I dont mess it up now :D

I think most would agree that you certainly won't hurt your site by adding fresh content (search engines love fresh content!), but make damn sure it's relevant and targets the same keywords that you already have been.

Hope that helps, and I'm sure others will weigh in.

It is up to you if you can have more than 200 words, but it depends on you. :D
