How many people here have a bet on sport?

I do it a lot. Not a professional gambler. But considerably close.

Just curious to as many of you gamble on sport?

Also is it because of the rush? Or you just want to make money?

Yeh i started by doing that.

    Actually a good story.

I started $50 here and there on games. Im like a sports fanatic. I was winning a lot.

I ended up winning over 10 grand from it. And this is my online account, which i originally deposited $200. It was over a 2 month period.

But i got to nervous when i do it.

And i stopped for a while because i wasn't enjoying sport i was that nervous.

But now im back, and going pretty well. But i can stop at any time, whenever i like. No where near a compulsive.

Good thing you're not addicted. I know a lot of people who just keep playing whether they win or lose, and after all they lose more than the winnings. If you won more than 10k, someone has to lose in order to keep the balance, right?

By the way, which sport you like to bet more? I only bet on tennis and basketball

Yeh, but the person loosing is sportsbet lol. :D

Im not compulsive. I do a lot of research. I know every sport off the back off my hand. I don't like people who go to casinos. I think that form of gambling is silly.

I mainly bet on tennis. E.G Australian open this year im sitting on 93% correct tips. I do a little bit of basketball, have phoenix tonight obviously.

Im all for head to head and small multibets.

I research games for about 3 hours before i bet on it.

Check the team line ups. Previous records at grounds. Form summary. Its not to hard. ;)

Wow, $200 into $10k. A success story for sure. How many times did you bet? Thats like 50,000% return isn't it?

Over the course of 3 months, i think around 100 times.

I use a strategy of genuine research. And not going for upsets or anything silly. I also play head to head. Thats sensible.

Whats head to head? Like 1 player vs another? And when you don't play upsets, you get shitty returns, right? Like 1.xxx? How did you make 50,000% like that?

Well head to head. Is like Sharapova to win over Henin. Nothing more nothing less.

I also use some small multi bet functions. E.G you pick two favourites against two roughies. The bets often multiply to around $2. For any bet you double your money.

But first of all i emphasize research what i do.

    Aah...

Did you win on today's Sharapova vs Henin match today btw? There was a slightly clear favourite, but not by much. They're both pretty evenly matched.

I had Sharapova. Got her at $1.90

And i had Tsonga at $2.50 over Youzhny.

The Tsonga match was easy money.

What do you mean by $1.90? Like 1.9:1 Win:Invest ratio?

I've been known to place a few small bets here and there. ;) It always makes the game more interesting if there is something riding on it. :D
