I have purchase a few back link packages now.

I have been looking on webmaster over the last week now and it has not changed. My site has been crawled a couple of days ago but i think the sites that my links are on need to be crawled to show mot mine is this true :(

How long does it take for back links to show ?

Also i have read about Google punishing for too many too soon, any opinions on this because i have purchased a load

Thanks in advance

Be patient, may be the pages where the links are placed are not being crawled very often.

Buying paid links is a high risk investment, the website could get penalized by Google for selling links and make their SEO value worthless, therefore making your investment worthless. You should be trying to build natural links, not paid links.

I wouldn't consider backlinks where there is even a sligh possibility that Google will spot the word "paid" or "pay" or stuff like that.
I'm sure if your site contains certain long-tail phrases, such as "sponsor this page" or "buy a link", then you get automatically flagged as 'suspicious'. And maybe somebody manually checks your site, looks at it for 2 seconds, notices that you're selling links, and your whole site is devalued.

Buy links? No thank you, i'll pass this one :)

It takes a while for most back links to show up on Google webmaster tools. I had one site that had one site that went from new to PR5 in two updates and in Google tools, it still showed almost no links. I had some that did not show up till right before a major PR update. It takes time so you have to be patient.

Yahoo tends to register links faster, try entering link:www.yourwebsite.com in to yahoo.
