There are hundreds of methods of generating traffic, and thousands of threads in this forum that offer suggestions on improving traffic.

If you write something interesting, funny, or worthwhile, people will often Stumble it by themselves, without all the false promotion.

The tone of your post suggests that DP is responsible for the success or failure of your site. Take charge instead of casting blame.

Stumble exchanges are against the TOS of Stumble Upon. I get plenty of traffic from Stumble Upon by just stumbling myself. If you offer good content, people will continue to stumble after you. :)

Good to see these changes finally coming into effect.

The amount of scams should go down dramatically as a result of this. It also makes digital point feel more like a professional forum where doing things that are illegal are prohibited. The big one for me was people selling hotmail accounts and various other emails which were clearly to send spam.

It was bound to happen. Money exchanges were against the TOS for so long and still people continued doing it. Its good DP put and end to all this.

Hoping to see multiple email account creation services to be closed soon as well. They are mostly used for the same old dating scam. Also creating email accounts with false info is illegal in countries like India.

A suggestion thread should be stickied to discuss the stuff they sell here wheater it should be allowed. Even though I don't know how much the staff impacts from the users.

I always loved digital point for this half legal status like the money exchanges, loans and trading of accounts. Yeah, next steps, forbit digg exchanges and closing the adult section. oh and don't forget to *** out all bad words like fuck and porn. trying a to put a bottle in my ass won't prevent me from farting. cleaning up this forum makes it just some boring whatever place like sitepoint  i'm ready to move, any suggestions for other sites who aren't trying to play police?

FYI, note the rule includes buying or trading. If someone posts one of these accounts for sale and you post in the thread looking to buy before the mods can delete it you too will receive an infraction.

Feel better saying all those words?

You do not need scams and garbage to have a webmaster forum. Most honest webmasters like to have a forum where they can conduct business with out being bumped down by the latest scammer who comes to trade money or sell fake accounts.

Here is a forum that should suit your needs: www. freelancegossip .com

They just opened a scammer buy sell section to welcome all the junk DP just banned. Please do not let proverbial door hit your back side on the way out of DP. :D

Oh by the way, it is Denny Crane not Danny. :D
