This is a very well thought out post! Great job Abhishek Just one or two things I would like to add as for the treatment of depression.... 1) Your health is your wealth. Take care of your mental health. We all need to take care of both our physical and mental health. Educate yourself on what your body needs to perform. Educate yourself on what your brain needs to perform. Even if you are one of the lucky people that has never had to deal with depression in your life, whether it be you or a loved one you should still learn about your body and mind. 2) Cognitive distortions. Good link: http://healthymind.com/s-distortions.html . Learn about cognitive distortions and how they affect the way you think and function as an individual. 3) Medication. Learn about the different types of medication used to treat depression and anxiety disorders. Some people need medication while others can do without. Knowing what you need and why will help you in your recovery. Doctors don't know everything so don't be afraid to do your own research. 4) Goal setting. Take the time each day to set small attainable goals. Keep track of what you have done and what you haven't. Try to get them all done each week. After awhile you will suprise yourself with how many tasks you managed to achieve. This will help with building your confidence. Thats all I would like to add. Hope it helps
Very accurately said. A great addition to my post. Listen to what this man speaks people With your permission, may I add your post to my Blog post ? Abhishek

Spoken like a true used car salesman... Great post Abhishek, it takes alot of courage to write about this kind of stuff.
It is not a choice and it is a mental issue that sometimes we never said. It is usual to experience depression sometimes and we do things to cope up with it like enjoying life and being with your friends and family.
I suffer from this for many years but I still haven't got myself treated. I hide my emotions from people and my family knows nothing about it that's why it's hard to seek treatment. Oh well...
Everyone of us gets depressed somehow or for a while...because of our way we are dealing life! It's in our power to see always the bright side because you are the only one who can really help us!!! Good article and very nice idea to bring such an actual subject nowadays!
i dont agree with it.I have lost everything and regained everything inspite of my depression when i had nothing.
