What can you buy with a dollar in you country?

I just had this idea that i think is very interesting:

Show us what you can buy with 1 dollar in you country.

For example, in my country Peru, I can buy:

3 bottles of Pepsi of 500ml each.

I also can buy 6 packs of Lays.

EDIT: Please tell us your country too

 

One dollar could buy me around 3 cans of beer.

 

maybe 1 can of pesi if lucky also 1/2 ltr of petrol uk

 

I can buy 3 packs of lays with $1 . :|

 

4 bottles of 500ml pepsi
dollar is losing its shine against our currency (indian rupee) since last one year or so

In the UK a dollar coverts to only around 50p

I can maybe buy a chocolate bar or bag of crisps, or the daily paper.

 

I can't get anything to great for a dollar in the part of Canada I live in.

$1 each:
week day newspaper
can of pop (soda)
bag of chips
candy bar
coffee from a corner store

We have "dollar stores" on every corner where you can buy cheaply made toys, food, household items etc

 

Probably a can of coke or packet of chips, so something small. Australia.

 

Maybe if i'm lucky a can of coke(330ml). But probably not even that. It's worth about £0.50 so 50 penny sweets?
