Ok, this thread is dedicated to help us all. You need to post 2 tips for SEO that you've tried and tested or confidently believe works. Not tips you've read on the Internet, methods you've actually seen some success or believe works for greater SERP rankings. Remember please give 2 of your favourite tips. Here's mine 1. Anchor text variations. 50% your anchor text aimed at the number 1 exact key phrase e.g. "wedding dresses", 30% variations on that phrase e.g. "bridal wedding dresses", 20% niche phrase e.g. "wedding dresses in london" or "london wedding dresses". 2. Meta Title Tags and Descriptions Keep all title tags unique. Keep description tags unique. Use combinations of titles in your description.
1. Use ALT tags on image navigation, its not as good as text based but much better than nothing at all 2. Always register a new site with Google Webmaster tools and make sure domain preference, enhanced image search and site maps are all set up
1. Make 301 Redirection to your preferred domains mostly likey domain.com to www.domain.com this will as SE sees differently domain.com and www.domain.com and see the duplicate content so redirection will solve this problem. 2. Make file name consistent with your title, keyword and description. Means put keyword in file names.
Do not Over-Optimize. Make site for users and not for SEs. There is nothing worse than reading a keyword stuffed content. When coding, make sure the content always comes before your menus. Look at your html and check if the content is at the top.
Update Site map information for any changes in links of website. Important Keywords in Title and Description defining page content
My 2 point SEO tips: 1. Creative content development, content tweaks and Keyword density. One need to update contents regularly. 2. Internal link structuring. This is important depending upon the size of website. These 2 are the most important thing I focus apart from link building and other stuffs.
