Advertise on the holding page for rustygames.com (www.rustygames.com).

1 Month (or 350,000 ad views) costs $1000.

I will be willing to do 1 week trials for $250 each.

Payments needs to be made via paypal at the start of each booked month.

Any questions or buyers please email me:

    rustygames[at]gmail.com

You'll get a faster response if you also post on this topic.

    Thanks

The traffic comes from various viral flash games I created which advertise the site.

That is pretty self-explanatory in the website title along with the image you're presented with if you visit it :)

What would be placed on that page a banner (what size and do I provide it?) or text link? and what has been the average CTR for the ad?

You did your math wrong. $1000 / 350k views is a CPM of about $2.80. If you have a cool site where you're likely to attract return visitors and/or drives sales/sign ups, then $2.80 is a small price to pay.

I have never placed an advertisement on this page so i'm not usre, though it will be very prodominate on the page so I assume it would be high.

Sorry, the size is a standard 728x90 banner

The reason I post on forums to sell private ads is so we can cut out the middle-man fees to get the best deal for the advertiser and the publisher. Ad networks take a huge un-deserved cut of all revenue which is why I like to sell ad's on the side on private forums.

However ad networks like you still manage to plague these forums to try and get your cut. I wish you would'nt. All spammy ad network cowboys should be banned.

Well if you're not looking for a big-time advertisment then i'm sure we can arrange a 1 week ad slot for $250/week.

Let me know what you think

With all due respect, I'm not an adnetwork NOR a cowboy (but I think chicks with cowboy hats DO rock!).

I am a product and service developer, and this is one of my products. I work with merchants and affiliates, websites and networks. Not as a middle man but as a guide and top level management professional. While you are trying to sell your inventory, I see no harm in putting a merchants product like mine into your line-up of non avails/open ad spots until you fill it. I am merely trying to help you monetize existing space that is not being utilized or is being utilized without maximized response...

Apologies if you saw my intentions as unpure, I have been in the mix for 11 years and do a lot. While my aim is to get some great awareness and affiliates around my product line and mention my programs to you, I have no intention of being a middle man, i'm offering that part to you and other websites like yours... It's actually quite difficult these days to get personal consultation or attention/support from a merchant or guide to help you monetize your traffic or your ad spots, so please see me and my resource as an ally not a threat.

Thank you kindly, best of luck with your sales!
    Norb.

Thanks Norb, but I really do just want to sell to a private advertiser. I think I'll revise my pricing soon as no one seems to have a site which can afford such high CPM's for arcade traffic.
