Accepting credit cards only, no Paypal

I have noticed that some websites / hosting companies like Site5 only accept credit cards, not Paypal. Is it because the charges are lower for credit cards or is there some other reason?

Theres still many sites that are implemented with paypal or haven't heard about it etc. Maybe just prefer credit card the standard method.

But more and more are growing with paypal.

Paypal is the future! (wish there was a stock symbol on this :))

That's probably due to CC has been used for a long long time, they tend to trust CC more.

i think the reason for not using paypal is because of getting payment from stolen paypal all the time and disputs etc... these cause trouble and lots of companies hate trouble...

Compared to credit card payments, how easy or difficult is it to reverse Paypal payments?

It's no walk in the park--they do an investigation and it takes a while.

it is easy if you buy digital product since it is hard to prove that the product was sent to the buyer as most of the time digital programs are can be downloaded after sending the payment... but if you buy goods or items from ebay that are send by postal then its LITTLE hard to get your money back... however most of the time buyers get the money back after investigation as paypal most of the time give the decission in the favor of the buyer... a friend of mine sold a mirror at ebay but the buyre claim that the mirror was broken at the time of delevery... and paypal took the money out of my friends account and send it back to the buyer... its that easy... buyers can easily lie that the product that was sent is not the product they order for or the product was broken... there are lots of tricks that buyers use to get back there money and keep the product... but if your from USA then you can sue paypal to court and get back your money... but most of the time people dont just go that far.. they decide not get in trouble...
