Is anybody here following the 26th edition of the African Cup of Nations being held in Ghana ?

The hosts will kickstart proceedings today evening against Guinea.

No Stephen Appiah for Ghana, but they do have Essien, Muntari, Mensah, Pantstil, Asamoah and a host of others.

Assuming that you live in the United States, this article may help you.

Ghana beating Guinea 2-1 thanks to a late goal from Sulley Muntari. The pitch wasn't the best one- it didn't suit Ghana's style of play.

John Pantsil in hospital after complaining of dizziness.

Forlan is good player but he didn't get many chance with Manchetser United.

Yes Tim is a good player and very talented one. I wonder how many years he will play for Everton. I am sure he will move to bigger clubs.

Yeh well he carries Australia. In the world cup they only made it to the second round because of him.

hes going to go to Chelsea i have been hearing. I think he will score even more goals for them.

    Egypt v Cameroon

I fancy Cameroon , ivory Coast or ghana to lift it this time. However, Samuel Etoo does give a huge huge edge to the indomitable lions.

Cameroon to me are the darkhorse. I have loved watching there style of play for the last ten years.

I expect Ghana to win but doubt if they actually can.
