    Hello talented people.

I am looking for a new logo. It's a sentence that says the following:

    Made exclusively from
    American Grade A Milk

    Requirements:

It must look American and therefore you must use the red white and blue colours. You can use your touches but IT MUST LOOK AMERICAN

I want this logo to look impressive and very professional (One look at the logo should create the feeling of extreme quality, trustworthiness and professionalism)

You can use other American symbols if you wish: eagle, stars, stripes etc, but it must look professional and corporate and trustworthy

You can write the following words: made exclusively from around or above American Grade A Milk. This American Grade A Milk is the essential part of the logo. You can place it on an oval, a rectangle, a badge etc. It's up to you.

I will let this run until Tuesday the 29th to give you time to enter it.

Any questions please ask in the thread or pm me. If you intend to enter this contest just drop a line saying you're going to enter it.

scoopy, thanks for giving this a try. It certainly has an American theme to it, but that's about the only positive part. I am looking for something more corporate looking, something a little more "serious", more professional.

    Here is m entry...

However, in my entry I used a stock photo from istockphoto.com you would need to buy the rights to that image which costs 5 credits. You can buy 10 credits from them for $13 so if you picked me as the winner I would ask that you just buy the rights to the image and you can either take $6.50 for the 5 credits you are using or the whole $13.00 if you feel you won't use the others in which I would ask that you give me access to your account on there or something. I was going to try to make the eagle myself, but I don't think it is fair for me to basically mock up a design that was already created and just modify it a little bit even though I would have been perfectly within my boundaries so I would just take the cut for you to get what would be best for your purpose (if you like my design). I don't own adobe illustrator, and it is hard to make complicated shaped designs in photoshop.

Here is the link to the stock photo:

Mike.S Thanks for giving this a try. Hard to give feedback on your work. It certainly looks American but the emphasis should be on the American A Grade Milk, the eagle is too overpowering and it deflects attention from the sentence that I was trying to highlight (American A Grade Milk). It is also a touch too cartoony and I was after something more professional, more corporate looking. Thanks for the info re: istockphoto.com I use istockphoto myself and if there was a picture I needed to purchase that would be no problem.

Crash: thanks for entering this. Hmm.... I like some elements in your design even though it's not there. For example: I like the font you used for American A Grade Milk and the way you built the American elements into this text. However it doesn't seem to flow well together. I can't put my finger on it. The font you used is clean, corporate and yes it's close to what I wanted but doesn't seem to be positioned well. It's probably a little too spread out. And I think you can somehow make it a little more creative/unique.

Hey dely, thanks for the entry but it's not what I am looking for. I need something more corporate looking. While I can see some American elements in it, I feel it feels short.

Did you need this in Vector so its fully scalable for print machines or is any format fine? I ask because I'm try to stay away from bevels, gradients, transparencies, & other Effects that give it a more glossy & 3d feel due to the NON-transferable elements of them when needing it in vector.

If you don't need it in vector, then I'll re-do my submission with effect filters so it shines like glass.

    Thanks guys!

@ScorpionAgency - in the past, proteindude has never required vector files as far as i know, just high resolution rasters. 300dpi large canvas PSD or equivalent is surely enough for most uses.

Mr DaveyBoy himself. WOW. Thanks for entering this Davey. I'll get straight to the point. It looks good in the sense it's got a nice shape and it's easy to apply onto anything. However, I feel like the colours are a little faint and you could use more American colours. By that I mean perhaps a stronger red and blue, something a little more vibrant. This is a personal thing but I'm not a big fan of the text being in a rounded shape. I think it would look more corporate, more professional if it was in a straight line.

Scorpion, thanks for entering this. It's not what I am looking for. I think you put the emphasis too much on the icon thing rather than the main sentence: American Grade A Milk. The text you used is a little faint for me. And regarding your other question I don't need it in vector. I just need some format that can be customised (bigger smaller) but this logo/badge will only go on small things such as some labels.

Blurred: thanks mate for giving this a try. It's a pleasant design but somehow doesn't grab me. It needs a little more American touch to make it look American. I like how you used a panel for the main sentence but it doesn't go well with the other text above the panel. I feel like it's a little too simple.

Dely: thanks for the new entry. It is an improvement but still not what I am after. I feel like you are concentrating too much on the icon rather than on the text. It is not going in the direction that I want as I need something a lot more corporate looking.
