Well, I guess that especially in the beginning, people did not even think about making money out of a domain name, but just concentrated on getting the "right" name for their website. After all, the whole thing was new for us and by then, we were not even sure that 3 years later, domain names would still exist <g>... mh.net is stalled at 4500 now - 4 days left.
Can I ask (what is possibly a stupid!) question? Is it not possible to register 2 letter names any more?
To my best knowledge, the last 2-letter-domains (there are only 676 of them for each top-level-domain) were taken for CNO (com/net/org) more than 10 years ago, 3-letter-domains (ca. 17000 per TLD) are also gone meanwhile.
MH could be used for Men's Health, This is a premium domain I wouldn't let it go for anything less then 15k aim for 20
Thank you for your input! Mental Health (there is actually a MHNET.com in the USA) too, or Mobil Home. But those are all businesses who do not care a lot about such a domain name I suppose... Auction is still stalled at 4500$ (reserve not met) with 2 days to go.
7500 now and a few hours left - I am starting to wonder whether auctioning at sedo.com was a real good idea, LOL.
$10,000+ considering its age and name. Also, don't sell it. If you need money go to a bank and they will probably give you a loan based off this domain itself. It'll keep going up in price.
