Sup everyone. Who else has noticed their adsense has been sucking this month?
I know mine has. Unless i'm smart priced I'm really pissed at google.

I have 2 sites that the keywords paid very nicely. Now i'm getting 1 cent clicks. I mean c'mon now either google is raping us or I'm smart priced. I don't think its smart pricing because I have some smaller sites that have been getting 35-40cents a click! whats the deal!!
    Uhg!!!

Well if they are smart pricing your site then you won't make much from adsense.

Yeah I understand that, but from what i have heard when you get smartpriced it is account wide. So all your sites that you have adsense will be affected.
In my case I have a few other sites that are still getting 40-50 cents a click.

My main sites that usually make 40-90cents are getting 1 cent and 5 cent clicks. Just annoying thats all.

I have noticed a big drop too, I think adwords users are realising that the content tool can be lower than the search tool....

Things have been going fairly well the last two weeks--especially the last week. There has been an increase in revenue with barely any change done on my end.

I noticed a drop in earnings, too. And I know I'm not smart-priced because i have $0.8 clicks (one on 3-4 days).
Overall, my eCPM dropped from $2-$3 to less than $0.5!

My eCPM sucks too since january. It's not smartpricing, it's just less advertisers, less good quality ads. On my website there are 4 ads all the time, at every single page, there are no others.

The United States economy is getting worse. Some say we may be in for a recession. Businesses will be tightening their belts and controlling costs, which will mean leaner and better managed advertising for them. That will reduce our click revenue, some more so then other niches. :(

I think you're right Intruder, less advertisers means less competition, less competition means cheaper ads.... so maybe it's not smartpricing, is cheaper ads because there's not so much compeition like months ago... recession ?? well, maybe could be a factor for less ads,... :(

I have a feeling that this is nothing, and it is going to get way worse in the coming year and next. We might be complaining next year this time about only making 10 cents a day off of 10 websites.

I'm not getting less per click because I'm getting no clicks.

I think ad prices are down people know they can get keywords cheaper or find lower cost ones. I also know some ads have high CTR and others lousy CTR. If you have ad that has lousy Ctr it hurts site just as bad as smart pricing.

it's all about the SERPs here. nothing to do with pricing. once my sites came back up on the SERPs, earnings are damn good.

Adsense is good if you have a good paying niche.
