Why is picking your nose considered disgusting?

Why is picking your nose considered disgusting? You have to pick it to clean it. It is cleaning. Then why is it disgusting?

 

Its only disgusting if you put it in your mouth and like the taste.

 

You don't wipe your ass in public either, do you?

That something you do in private. Do you potty in public than you should pick your nose in private.

Its not, but when you have boogers hanging out of your nose it scares little kids and they think you da boogey man!

That being said.. Even if they did it in the private doesnt mean they washed there hands..

I never shake hands with people from the sheer fact they could have just masturbated, wiped there ass, picked there nose, other things..

 

Do people not carry tissues or a hankerchief nowadays? Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I normally do.
