Hi..I have a problem, my sites doesnt have any backlinks in google and msn yet, but i have in yahoo... i've done so many things in that site to get backlinks, i've submitted already in social bookmarking sites, i've made a page in google page, i have signature in some forum sites using my targeted keyword, i've done some backlinks using lycos and geocities, i have two blogs, i have a link their pointing to my site.. Anybody here who wants to help me or give me some advise how can i have a backlinks from google? Thanks and hoping for all your response..
if you have done everything you have mentioned, then rest assured that you will see your backlinks in Google in the next Google's update. I have a site with only two backlinks in Google, but recently Google updated its index and it shows now 45 backlinks. be patient. Regarding msn, I can not say anything, as I really do not know how to get indexed in msn, I have a one year old site which is indexed in yahoo and google with backlinks on both of them, but this site still not indexed in msn.
I think YOu should wait for google next updation. if you have done all techniques then in next updation you site will have backlinks.
Don't worry about backlinks with google to much, they don't really update that index very often. Rest assure the back links are being counted, just not shown.
Google only shows a sample of your backlinks. Use Yahoo Backlinks if you want the count to be more accurate. New sites won't easily get backlinks shown on Google unless after more than, say, 60 days.
I think the social bookmarking sites & forums that you have worked out might be helping you in traffic and visibility but possibly not helping you in backlinks because they might be not doing follow up links. Commenting in relevant blogs may help you those do follow up, however this could be one of the method but you should not depend on this only, go on writing quality & unique content that will help you in getting backlinks easily.
Hi, Don't worry in next update Google will show your site's links. But you have to confirm the quality of your links on your level like check nofollow tag on each link, cache of that page all these thinks. Best of luck!
You can\'t view all your backlinks in Google... Try to login to Google webmaster and see some of your links there...
Thats right. Dont forget to submit sitemap to google and update it regularly. They will report your site status in google index. its really nice try it.
I have a site that for years google showed only 16 backlinks and yahoo more then 20000 for the same site, now on this update google discovered 800 backlinks to my site.... but my PR was downgraded by 1
just be patient and double your hardwork, and when the next update comes I'm sure you have more backlinks than before! Good Luck
