Being perfectly frank what is to be being your opinion to the true state of play with directories from today with Gods honest opinion to be given. Is it be be being better than last month, better than before Google be being punishing with pageranking drops or is it to be worse.
I think its better, it unsettled us all, forced us to improve and gave people fresh ideas that otherwise some may have put off or never changed.
Yes I am to be wanting to start one this is being why I am asking questions. I am one not be being walking into dark room with no knowledge if I can first be trying to learn of dark room before walking in. For mud in gutter analogy! I am to be confused to what this is to be meaning.
I think its sensible to ask all of the questions that you have and to do lots of reading, ive currently been reading and researching for various projects im planning and working on. Ive literally been reading about some things for months, sounds over the top but for me it helps me make as close to the best decisions that i can. There was one thing i was going to do and after reading about it for about 3 weeks i decided against it, i dont see it as wasted time as id rather spend 3 weeks or months to realise that i dont want to do something, than spend 3 years involved in something after a bad decision because i didn't plan properly. For me 90% of a job is the planning, getting the details, the rest is just putting it all together.
Pipes, you'll go far in life. Now back to the subject. I think Google is trying hard to weed out the bad (spammy, link selling, unedited) directories from the good ones. This is upsetting the entire directory industry and as a result makes it much harder to start a directory and make money. My gut feeling is that a year or two from now only those that are building a business will be around. The directories out there to make a quick buck will be gone because it won't be profitable. Bottom line, don't start a directory today unless you're willing to work very hard at building a high quality resource...and surviving for months or years before seeing a return on your investment.
I am to be typing slow for racist people poke fun at my words. I am to start directory for I am glad to work hard it kill no-one. I am no quick buck person like many I am neither a know it all like some are claiming which is why I do ask many questions. I will take pipes good advice and remain asking question if good people wish to answer this will be good, if they do not want to answer then it will be for not wanting to share or not knowing how.
