How to become a moderator in this forum

    By asking certainly not. I was reading and old thread in which the owner says no-no to people asking to be a moderator.

    It is not easy to become a moderator here. You have to be liked by Shawn(forum owner) and have to be well respected member.
    Thats what i have in my feeling..

    Pm a guy called Crazy_Rob 100 times exactly a day. After the second day going into the third you will be a special mod. You must say in these Pms as big as you can I WANT TO BE A MOD. Make the whole PM this over and over. He will make you a mod definately.

    Do not take this advice! I hope you spotted it was a joke.
    You can't volunteer to become a moderator around here - you need to be asked. Only people who are well known, well respected and 100% on the level are asked. Being handsome helps too so I'm expecting I'll hear soon! :p

    Why would you want that to begin with? I think its good that people put their free time into keeping this place under control but I know I'd much rather lie on the couch and watch tv.. :rolleyes:

    Almost all of the people in the dp longs to be a mod but there are not much vacancy or need to accommodate all of them. Shawn knows whom to be appointed as a mod after watching their activities here :)

    I don't think it's possible to be a mod here in DP right now. Most of the moderators here have been with DP eversince it started.

    It ia a big responsibility to take the moderator's post at digital point. The work load is huge, as dp is one of the most active boards on internet. So far all the mods that Shawn as picked are great, am sure if he spots a good member around, he will sure pick him/her to become a moderator. Imagine getting a PM from Shawn, asking to be a moderator at DP!!
