Hey guys. Just thought I'd share my best blogging tip with y'all. When writing, make sure things are well spaced. For example, I just put a second space into this post. Makes it a bit nicer to read, eh? No one wants to read a huge body of text. This is key to developing a decent reader base. It doesn't matter to Google, but if you want a solid userbase, you need to write with the reader in mind. Check out John Chow's blog for an example. He didn't make $180,000 in 2007 from his personal blog for no reason!
John Chow makes money from suckers that sign up for his affiliate program. He pays people to put it on your blog, and instead of you using Amazon and getting 120 dollars per sale, you get 15 cents and he gets the 120 dollar commission for a tv. His blog is shit.
Wall of text is funny! I use the three sentence rule then a space or two then 3 more sentences. It really depends on the content. It seems that white space gets me higher CTR's go figure.
Paragraphing is important wherever you write so that readers won't get tired. Apart from this, the space between lines must be appropriately wide as well. Actually, I find the readability of Darren's Problogger blog is the best, even they are not full of images like what John has.
