They build in a percentage allowance on both the publisher and advertiser side to offset the fact that some people will not have their speakers turned on.

Their is a more complete Official Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ on Pay Per Play in this thread.

I'm sure there were some skeptics of AdSense when they started. Not as many as today, but some. ;)

You never know... they could fail. Many have. This one looks promising though, from many points of view. There is virtually zero risk, and no cost for publishers. Other the other hand; If you don't take the opportunity, you are guaranteed to receive nothing.

You are better to have your account registered now, because the affiliate program will not be open to new members after the program goes live. So, once they close referals, new webmaster will only be payed for their own ads. If you are a beta tester (signed up prior to live launch and close of referrals) you get paid for your own ads, plus a bonus percentage from your referrals.

If you haven't registered an account yet, do it today. It will be worth it very soon. See the red link in my signature.

I think that PPP may work well. Maybe this is the time to this tipe of advertising, like videos. internet is ready for this. Some yearsago, this was impossible, but not now.

This is not a violation of NAA PPP TOS, nor AdSense TOS, currently.

You have to be registered for over a week, and have a certain number of posts... Just stick around, it will come quick.

 They are not taking anything from publishers, so I'm not sure how that could be construed as a 'scam' - and the advertisers they have are not rookies (HBO, Harley Davidson, Taco Bell)... but to each their own.

Hopefully, you at least created an account, so when you do see the proof of validity, you won't be missing out of the extra commission.

Per the PPP Blog Feb 6th:

Looks like the initial 100,000 tests went fine. Should start to rock in the next few weeks. A bunch of websites that don't meet guidelines are going to be restricted over the next week, so that will slow the ads down a bit, but ultimately increase the ads, and the revenue for legit websites.

Yes, but you need to remember, the program is in test mode and only a fraction of ads are been sent out. The amounts are not important so theres no point in posting that information. Testing will resume over the next fourth night.

I think hes talking about actual paychecks. I've heard that that would happen in March. I'm hoping it will be in 2 to 3 weeks.
