There is this site with PR 5, and it has decent back links..

Problem is the PR looks fake to me..
    Here is why?

When I do google search of the URL with

    info:www.mydomainpr5.com

Google returns another domain with PR 5.

    www.otherdomainpr5.com

I bought this domain after it was dropped. and The result that google is showing when i do info: is the new domain of the OLD owner,

Is he redirecting his PR to his old domain, now mine...

    How do I remove it?
I see nothing in the source of this HTML page...

    What could this be?
Do my site still have a PR 5.. It is beeen so for the past 2 google updates.

    TIA

try http://digpagerank.com/ with the domain name. if it returns PR result in green then its valid, if its orange then its not sure and if its red then its fake.
you can also type in google : info:www.sitename.com and if it returns the same site in very first place then its valid and in case it returns some other site then probably its a fake one.
    hope it helps. :)

If you read the thread, I did that already,,, I just don't know why it is returning a different site, though I own the domain now, with my DNS pointing to it already

Do you see your page when you run a cache:www.yourwebsite.com ?
Do these websites have the same content?

PS: This is wrong section for this btw.
