I don't think anyone in any religion should be persecuted for anything.

Again, twisting facts like you are so prone to do. Where did I say that it is OK to "murder" homosexuals? I only stated that in Islam homosexuality is a crime and that there are legal proceedings to persecute someone for this crime. Just because you accept homosexuality does not make it morally right.

Sheesh, does anyone here actually understand English?

I couldn't even count the number of Muslims I've known.

    Does my wife count?

And you are still alive. How come if they follow "the system" that teaches them to execute you?

It's evil, whether or not Islam has managed to take over the government and replace civil law with Islamic law.

It doesn't matter whether you are in Dar Islam or in Dar al Harb -- murdering people for exercising their freedom of speech or their sexual preference is an abominably evil act.

That's an odd statement, as your team is the only one talking about murdering people and calling it acceptable.

Dar al Islam. To be more specific would violate reasonable security protocol.

The Nazi's also wanted all Jews dead, but somehow they didn't manage to get it done.

Islamic law demands my death. Do you believe that murdering me for falling in love with and marrying a lady who was born into an Islamic family is a good thing or an evil thing?

You are engaging in double-speak. This shows only that you are embarrassed by your beliefs.

Let's see if you can be made to be honest.

Is this hanging of these two young boys a good act or an evil act?

When does this make it my problem, atheist?

Murder is wrong and there are punishments in Islam for murder.

This is dishonest. I did not twist, or say that you said it was OK. I asked the question if you did believe it was ok.

To avoid answering the question, you dishonestly claimed I actually stated it, when in fact, I asked you the question.

Now, are you going to continue to avoid the questions by playing the victim role and dishonestly claiming I accused you of something, when in fact, I asked you valid questions.

I have to agree with your sentiment of "Does anyone understand English?" I was thinking the same thing.

So, all those Muslims you know are just like Nazi's? Ok, sounds logical. :)

I believe it's an evil thing, something that I can't understand but you somehow fail to prove me that all Muslims you have met and know wants your death but somehow you managed to stay alive. How many bodyguards do you have?

I am not "embarrassed" by anything, that is only your assumption. Murder is murder, and homosexuality is homosexuality. If there are legal proceedings leading to the persecution of homosexuals in a proper manner, it is not "murder".

And what is this picture supposed to prove? What are the circumstances behind the hanging and what is the source for the report? I'd like to have these first before I make any comment.

These boys are being murdered by the Islamic government of Iran because they are homosexuals.

Is this a good act or an evil act?

I want a news report to the hanging first. I am not liable to accept your report.

That's an odd conclusion you have come to.

Can you share how you arrived at such an odd conclusion?

Why do you believe that all Muslims are just like Nazi's?

That's certainly hasn't been my experience.

What? You believe that following the strictures of Islamic law is an evil thing?

Now who on earth said that?

Read back in the thread. I'm the guy who said that people who believe in Islam are not evil, it's the system which leads them to do evil.

Will, since Islam is such an evil system, how do you interpret this poll's results? Almost 2 out every 3 think it's... who(... & ...)? With your reasoning, what shall be done about it?

OK, just for you, let's make this theoretical.

Assume that, somewhere in Dar Al Islam, there is a 16yr old homosexual boy.

What do you think is the appropriate response? Understanding or execution?

Why are you being so evasive?

Here's another face of Islamic oppression.

This body is that of Theo van Gogh, who was murdered for speaking out against Islamist violence.

Where here feels that this murder was a good act?

I'm areligious, so I couldn't give a shit about what anyone believes in. However, I do think that people need to be educated (morally). If religion can bring that kind of education, fine by me.

It's applying the fundamentals of religion on the minds of the sick and uneducated that's hurtful (as seems to be in the case of the murderer in this particular scenario).
