It certainly proves now that Sydney was a farce .... Australia w/o those uncapped 4 would have been in despair.

    Yeah!

Pathan is Man Of The Match. It was a good comeback for him! He made 74 runs and took 5 Wickets in the match.

    Congrats to India...

I bet you won't find many aussies who will complain and bitch about some of the decisions we received this test unlike the Indians last week.

The Indians seem to be happy. With the caliber of players India has, they should be able to beat any team in the world. But they are sometimes happy with a draw or even a defeat at times. The aussie players, on the other hand, look at a draw and a defeat the same way. If the Indian team manage to defeat the aussies and level the series, they will silence their critics.

India won the perth test match by 72 Runs. By winning the third test India has kept alive the hope of = the series. I think a great thing which allow India to win is good umpiring which has kept India away from win in last match other wise this could be different story.

Are you unhappy with decisions of Symonds and Hussey? Oh, well didn't you notice ponting given benefit of doubt for LBW two times in this test? And also what about the not so convincing decisions of Sachin LBW in first innings and Dhoni's LBW? I guess you haven't seen every ball in this match. The star cricket channel commentator Michael Slater even said that the umpiring was consistent after the decisions of australian players in second innings referring to Sachin and Dhoni's wickets in this match. These decisions are pretty normal and will even out and it's silly to compare umpiring at Sydney with umpiring at Perth. In Sydney there are lot of decisions against India. Indians had complained because Bucknor has a great(!!) relationship with India from many years. Sorry, but there is no excuse for Australia regarding umpiring ;) Our bowlers performed brilliantly

Great win by India. Bowlers performed well throughout the series. Actually India performed better than Aussies in all matches except in Melbourne. Kudos to the gentleman Kumble for pouring in confidence in to the team despite the controversies after Sydney test :)

    Congrats India!!

The bowling out of Gilchrist by Sehwag was nutz!!.....and he's only a part time bowler or part part time bowler. The relentless attitude of young Sharma to grab Pontings wicket was a booster and the skills of Pathan was great!! The part time bowling and all round skills of Symonds was great to watch. The "get outta here" sixes by Johnson and Clark at the end was fun to watch as well. Then to listen to the humble comments of Kumble at the end and that of his teammates who praised his leadership was a great climax to another great game. All in all it made an exhilarating game of cricket to watch.

Thanks Australia and India for a great game to watch.

    Bring on Adelaide!!!

Great win for India, but the question is if they can keep it up.

Good bowling and okay batting there.

Well I am sure India will keep the tempo up and try to make 2-2 series in next match. India should change Jaffar with Karthik who can provide a good opning start with Sehwag.

Just to mention ... as Sunil Gavaskar said .. This test have gone to prove, Cricket can be played without abusing and using foul words on ground.

And Ricky Ponting was right when he said after Sydney test ... This is the way Australians play .. aggressively. .... Else they wither like they showed up in the Perth.

May cricket win in all aspect of playing a game.

Yes it was definetely played in the right spirit.

I play cricket on the weekends. At a decent level. And sledging puts no batsmen off. So if it doesn't why do people do it. Its such a more beautiful game with no sledging.

But lets hope cricket continues to get better as a sport.

Well India not only won the match but do this too:

    - First team in 5 years who beat Aussi at home. Last one also India.
    - Stop them to take 17th win in a Raw
    - First Asian team who win the match at Perth.

Im hoping Jaffer is left out for the next test.

Harbhajan comes into the squad. And Dravid opens with Sehwag.

I think this is the strongest team India can field.

And they might just level the series.

Um yes, agree. But India can keep both Pathan and Dravid and add Harbhajan, if Jaffer is dropped. Jaffer has struggled all series. I think he needs a rest.
