    Hello All DP,

I Already paid for domain in TDNAM action in January 9. but I haven't received the code for transfer it to my account. I emailed the situation to godaddy and their answer is, request my information and they will contact the old owner for me. I sent them my information and theirs second answer is wait until they get the domain to godaddy, and godaddy will transfer to my account.

I am little bit worrying about this situation, because the domain name was very nice and I liked it. I think the old owner or godaddy, some one doesn't want to transfer it. or could be some other reasons? what do you think in the case? and what I should do?

    thanks All!

Domain transfers can take as much as a week to go through in some cases. Plus if things are not set exactly right (the domain is unlocked, etc.) then things can take even longer.

From your post it sounds like they are saying that the domain is finally in the process of transferring to GoDaddy, so I would give it a few more days to complete before getting too worried. Once the domain finishes transferring to the new host (GoDaddy) they will put it in your account and then you will be able to access it.

Was the name you bought registered at a registrar other than godaddy? and the owner didn't provided you the auth code info to start the transfer?

I think probably like that. but I am not sure and I am still waiting. what if old owner can't provide the auth code?

actually I have another one domain name, I don't have auth code for that domain to transfer another registrar. I registered that domain 8 years ago. I like that name and I am still paying. how can I transfer that domain to another registrar? I have receipt, but I don't know how to transfer. any advice?

Thanks for your reply and have great day.

Genrally you have an option in your control panel which reveals your domains auth code info, how to get to it depends on the domain registrar you are using. Though if you can't find it, you can always contact support and they will find it for you. One more thing to do before transferrn a domain name is to unlock it, you have an option for that in control panel as well, if you can find it either ask support to do it for you.
