In a word - yes. I'm not sure if you mean Wordpress.com or self-host Wordpress but with Wordpress you have a much larger choice of plugins and themes although if it's self hosted you've got a few more things to worry about. How 'tech-savvy' are you?
If you are serious about blogging self hosted Wordpress is the best option (most probloggers agree with this too)
self hosted wordpress is the best way to go. Tons of customized themes and plugins that blogger can't compete with.
Definitely Wordpress, the themes are much easier to control and there is a lot of plugins available. Blogger is restricted in a lot of sense.
Spot on...WordPress is the best. Easy to install on your server...most UNIX based hosts that have cPanel have Fantastico, and it's a super-quick install.
I vote on Wordpress, too many people at first start at Blogger.com but when they become more serious bloggers and think about ways how to change blogging to a more comfortable thing they choose wordpress
Wordpress is better. Experience it with it's plug-ins and themes. Blogger will give less amount of plug-ins and themes tham Wordpress gives.
has to be wordpress self hosted every time far greater control other your blog than on a free service
Wordpress on your own hosting space but create a couple of blogger blogs and link the wordpress ones to them.
It depends on rather you are talking the free hosting or self hosted. Without a doubt self-hosting with Word Press is superior. If you are talk comparing the free hosted versions, I prefer blogger. It is much easier to use and does great in the SERPs. I still prefer my self hosted Word Press because you have much more freedom to do stuff and thousands of plug ins.
I second. Hosting can also be a factor, when you say Free Blogging... Go for Blogger. But for Self-Hosted Blogging... Take a better step with Word Press.
wordpress is better, but if I'm not mistaken there is no opportunity to install plugins and put AdSense if you are on free blog.wordpress.com hosting and that is why blogger is better in this way..
It is not Blogger is easy to use than Wordpress. Blogger has no restriction on using it , you can customize and add widgets easily while Wordpress needs to be knowledgeable in CSS or HTML code and need to download the plug ins.
I haven't tried Wordpress either. However, I can't think of one thing that I would want to do and cannot do with Blogger but can do with Wordpress. If any of the Wordpress fans could enlighten me on this one I would much appreciate it. In terms of eyecandy, Wordpress <b>might</b> seem to have the upper hand, but you can find tons of free Blogger templates. Virtually every Wordpress template has been ported to Blogger. Furthermore, Blogger gives you the sheer power of being able to edit the template directly and easily. I've been told that it's not so easy with Wordpress. Finally, Blogger is free. I host pages for others but for my own blog (ConsumedConsumer.org) I use Blogger. I suggest you get your own domain name and use Blogger, unless someone can provide some good examples of things you can do with Wordpress but not with Blogger.
Yeah! Surely WP is best than all blogging scripts it has ease of access anything from anywhere and no more worries
