i just signed up and have the following questions can i use domain which sells only click bank products and does not have anything else not even content. is it essential to use affiliate templates. can i use traffic purchased from dp(will i get banned like adsense) will i get sales from purchased traffic also what is the payout and how does it pay.
I'm not a genius, but buying untargeted traffic would yield very low conversions. What you want is targeted traffic. Does no good if the traffic is a bunch of Myspace teens and the product you're trying to promote is an ebook on how to get babies to sleep.
dont buy traffic. Im a vendor and i sometimes see huge spikes of traffic where somebody obviously bought traffic. Guess how many sales they got... zero. choose the sniper rifel, not the shotgun.
This is a good advice. But if you can get loads of cheap not targeted traffic (not artificial hits) for cheap then do it. The conversion rates will be much lower but you would still make some sales. Buy the traffic, see how many sales you made, do the cost/benefit analysis and move on
I heard on several occasions that not targeted traffic brought to a good product would result in 1:1000 - 1:10 000 sales ratio... ... so an average of 1 sale per 5 000 visitors.
Yep, that is correct. So, if that sale gives you let's say 30$, this means that if you can get that traffic for less than 30$ you are OK
Yes, you can pick a domain that relates to the Clickbank product you wish to promote. This is not necessary. If you set up your own website or blog, you need to have content of some sort to attract visitors. But you can just send visitors directly to the Clickbank vendor's sales page through such means as adwords or paid traffic. No, not necessary, but you can play with this and see. My best results come through a niche site that is related to a vendor's products. I have content about other things, but advertise the product through banners, reviews, etc. Yes, generally you can. Other Dpers have answered that question quite well. Some sales, but probably very low and it might or might not be cost effective. IE, you might lose money on the cost of purchased traffic versus any sales made. Commission rates vary with different Clickbank vendors, but usually are 50% or more. Once you meet the payout requirements, Clickbank sends out a check every two weeks that your commissions reach $25 or more.
you can lookup average earnings per sale either on the marketplace or on http://www.cb-analytics.com if you want to see historic performance. average EPS takes into account returns and the fact that publisher can have multiple products with different prices.
PPC is great. Only bid on keywords you think a buyer might use. add negative keywords: free, gratis, scam, hack, clickbank (dont use "clickbank" as a negative keyword if you are promoting a "how to make money with clickbank" type of program) if you have some cash for PPC then give it a go.. Its the quickest way to get targetted traffic
One needs to have some guts to get into the PPC game. I'd advise to read any adwords book you can get your hands on, every post on the most popular forums before you start creating campaigns. It is way too easy to spend lots of money without realizing any returns.
Never buy traffic unless your a total stats whore (like me) or wanna lower your CTR for some reason. Bought traffic is never targetted
