Hey guys how much earning can one make from a PR2 directory It gets 50-100 uniques and 200-400 page views with close to 20-40 submissions and no paid submissions-i m not planning to provide any paid submissions too, till atleast it attains a PR5 or higher How much do you think i will be able to draw from adsense, i know there are directory owners out here who runs adsense-give me a realistic picture so that i can take a decision to whether to add adsense code or not-(btw this is not my main source of income-i have other niches doing well-just a hobby and testing waters)
0.50% - 1% CTR from your google impressions. So for 200-400 page views you may get 1 - 4 clicks. Money just depends on what the bid rates are going for. So this is the case for my directory.
I would say even less It was so many times discussed here... Let's say it once and clear: You won't have nice earnings with AdSense on directory. Just leave it if it is your main idea. Better build another kind of website - best something for teens
this month i did make about 35$ with 200 a 250 uniques a day, still 11 days to go for the end off the month
From my own experience its not worth to add Adsense on directory. I have added it to few of my web directories but now planning to remove it from there (already started removing)
Really not worth adding adsense on directories, you get smartpriced and get paid some cents. You can instead sell links and make more money Ooops.
I got rid of the adense i put up for a month or two on mine when i upgraded my directory to latest phpld version along with new template. (The few cent's not worth it and just wasted space) Looks more professional without ad's on there. The adense is up to you, if it works for you then great. Right now i will not put up anymore ad's on my directory period. (Just my opinion and mean no harm to anyone)
we are making 4$ daily with adsense in our pr - 5 directory if placements are right then you can easily earn
I tried adsense banner on BQTM for 1 month... and there were 20 clicks with 1.1$ earning in a month. Removed then ...
If its anything like any of my sites, you wont be making much...I would say maybe 5 dollars a month if you are lucky...adsense just isnt the way to go unless you are going build your site.
I experienced AdSense on a high traffic free web directory and I was getting between 0 and 1$ daily. Very rarely I was getting 1 or 2$ +. The maximum per day was 5.3$. The traffic was something like 300+ uniques per day. My advice : cut the crap with adsense because you are wasting your time.
Directories do n't earn much via adsense ,only if you have more than 10 directories with PR3 or above you can earn a minimum of $5 per day.
Don't waste your time with Adsense on directories...they will not work well. Best to focus on paid directory submissions.
When starting out adsense paid my hosting costs. As time went on though it got to the point where I was making decent money from adsense alone.
I would concentrate on making money with other things then adsense on a directory because traffic is never going to be high enough to be worth your time. I would use things such as paid links and affiliates but adsense is always a hard way to make anything with a regular directory
