if u register any .info domain at http://mydomain.com it is showing .info not available so i can not available. I wanted to register there b'coz 99 cents offer is deir till 20 but not able to register. Is it a scam that knowingly they say any.info domain as unavailable..i seesame domains available using godaddy.com & others.....please check that site & search for a .info & what it shows...
maybe they have some issues connecting to .info regisrty and that tld is not resolving properly. If you need a .info you can get it from www.directdot.com @ $1.69
ok..thanx for mentioning the alternative....godaddy takes $3 perhaps so above one would be cheapest...
I just checked before and it works fine at Mydomain, the offer has been extended as I posted here with all the details
I haven't seen any of the .infos really go for anything in the aftermarket. I think they are the next .org. If you notice people are just letting even 2letter 1number .orgs expire now.
Infos are also 99 cents at Dotster.com (which is the real registrar behind these others) the coupon for Dotster is: 99INFODOT I just regged a couple tonight so it is working as of 3 hours ago. Godaddy coupon: .info for $2.19: gdm1103 Three character .orgs have never been bought out. I am pretty neutral on the extension but a number of people think it is doing very well.
Some how it did not work yesterday but everything is fine today perhaps there was error with .info who.is as they were showing everything already taken..now it's ok....thanx much save....greens for sure...
Happened to me as well, but fixed it ticking the whole set of tlds available when searching for a domain. Don't go straight for the .info TLD as they may flag it as unavailable. Probably a marketing trick.
I would highly recommend looking for other hosts. mydomain.com is the worst host by far I have ever had. I have been with them on one of my domains and hosting for almost a year and have never had a fully functional website yet! Please look around more. Save yourself a headache. I am itching at this point to report them to consumer reports and the BBB. I am easy to please, but their hosting has to be the worse deal I have ever came across. It is a total ripoff and I am sure if you look around on the web you will find I am not the only one who knows this. I wish I had looked around more instead of getting scammed by this hole in the wall company. At this point support is not an option. They are incompetent and I don't want to waste my time with the tech support.
