My website on goddady is down

    My website on goddady is down from 1 day. It shows service unavailable but when refresh 4 or 5 times then my page appears.
    What i do.

    Sorry to hear that. I'm not a fan of their hosting services. Have you tried contacting their support?

    They might be having serious issues with their shared hosting platform. as Micksss said, contact them, if they don't give you a good reason, or offer you some type of discount, find a new host.

    1 day downtime is pretty unacceptable. If I was facing the same situation, I would have already get changed the hosts by now.

    My own experiences with GoDaddy and shared hosting normally point to someone with a run-away script hogging all the server time. GoDaddy DOES monitor that, and when they see it they shut the site down until the owner fixes the bad script (I know, it happened to me once). The moral of this story is don't assume it is always someone else's problem. If you recently added a new component or script to your site remove it and see if the problem goes away. Sometimes you might be the cause of the problem and not even know it.

    godaddy is not good in hosting service your should move to some professional service provider like

    bluehost or servage

    Move to some other host. There are many cheap hosts starting from $1-2 / month

    Yes ur right. There was a problem from my side which lead to the error. I removed some lines of code from my "web.config" file & then never got the error. Thanx for ur help.:):D
