Yeah...I know there are threads like this all the time. But whatever. I want opinions on my site. The site is http://www.geekstir.com SOME INFO: I started it in the middle of August 2007, so its like 5 months old now. Its PR4, lots of inner pages at PR4 and PR3 as well. About 200 posts so far, about 500 comments on said posts. Alexa Rank bounces between 30,000 and 45,000. STATS from August 2007-End of Year STATS SO FAR THIS YEAR (Jan 1st - Jan 18th 2008) I'm hoping to hit the 500,000 unique visitors in one month mark. Looks like I'll do that this month. I'm very surprised with how well the site is doing. I started it just wanting to post geeky and funny stuff from the net...I guess people keep coming back.
I'm definitely not selling it. Not unless I was homeless or something and needed money fast. The site gets about 4,000+ visits a day from google alone. About double that in direct traffic/day. Social bookmarking traffic. I have a forum, and lots of people from that forum visit the site. I know a lot of ppl dont think social bookmarking traffic is good or whatever, probably because it can go away. But it seems to be good and steady for me, so I like it. No...thats dnscoop.com
