What are Google friendly links?

    Hi
I'm trying to understand how links are determined to be Google friendly or not. I've been trying to bring in more links and on a popularity check Google recognizes only 34 out of 700+.

What is the best way to get Google acceptable links?

HAHA. Links that contain the most popular keyword on your site are most valuable to google. This is known as Anchor text.

I have noticed that google drops some links after time. I don't think anyone knows why.

Okay, so the site is http://www.pedalcarplus.com
The most popular keyword is pedal car and 99.9% of my links are tect. With the url containing the most popular keyword(s) isn't that enough for Google to count the links?

-the website is not W3C validated,
-content has been placed in Table format, which is outdated,
-not much content on the website to support/sell your product,
    -Mata tags(keywords) not mentioned,
    -Images with no Alt text,
    -needs adequate navigation.

All this is very important to be able to compete for ranks, since the Google would only give preference to the websites that have some authority..

It is understood that Google works to assist the users to find most authoritative stuff, hence the more updated your website is the more credit you gain. I am taking in respect of, the efforts that you put to convince your visitors to select you. Should your website be preferred by the users, you get the benefit of listing at a higher position.

About the links, Google would count the links to analyze, "how socially active is the website".
However, the anchor text would only support you at being popular for the keyword and support you in ranking high, regardless of serving authority with reference to the importance of the website.

Links need to be on a site in the same niche.

Google is giving more weight on relevant links with similar anchor texts.

With regards to your 34/700+ links shown by Google, don't worry too much about it coz they pick those links in random

Google friendly links, are links with the title or content or subject of the page in it. if ur dealing with a page which goes about "expensive water", its better to have an URL like "/expensive-water/ instead of index?page_id=165

always use the dash, instead of underscore, since google still cant determine the underscore.

Actually google check whether the link is related to your webpage. It would be good practice to maintain link with relevent keyword. If keyword is found in the link google gives that page a priority. Unrelated links are harmful for your page rank.

The back links you are having with your web partners with the same industry.
eg. if your business related to hotel industry, your web partners should be from the same industry.
That's seems trustworthy links by Google.

Just read this about 15 minutes ago:

    http://www.jonathanleger.com/turn-low-quality-links-into-high-quality-links/

I've had this problem, too. Mass link building is hit-and-miss. You might want to switch to a slow-burn approach. Also, make sure you vary your anchor text (and make sure you've researched them).

You might consider these for a slower approach.

I just checked my backlinks in Yahoo, and it's picked up 750. Google only recognises 299 links. Not suprising.

You have some good points, but the w3c compliant one is just plain foolish, the search engines dont count that as a factor I dont think.

you are right but not exactly cause google can be show 750 links to user but they prevent our back-link that's why it's shows as only few links...
