LLLL.coms are the rave of the moment with brandable and pronounceable ones fetching cool cash. WHat do you think is the future of LLLL.NETs, especially the brandable and pronounceable ones? I think they will become very valuable of course not a s much as the the .coms but they will do pretty fine, what do you think?
There already seems to be a market for 4 Letter .net, and they seem to be following the same pattern as the 4 letter .com's - All of the CVCV.net combos are taken... next all of the VCVC.net will be regged... and the pattern will continue... I doubt they'll fetch as much as the .com's, but I see them already selling upwards of $20 for pronouncables and nice acronyms etc.
bigger fool theory someone recently posted this to describe 4 letter .com craze... maybe 4 letter .nets would be even bigger fool theory.
I'd prefer L-LL.com and LL-L.com over LLLL.net Think about...if the LLLL are 4 meaningless letters, how can you sell the .net if .com is unsold?
Don't bet on it if you're talking about generic llll .net. If you are talking about premium four letters, then .net or even .info will be valuable investments.
Then what about these combinations. Can't decide to buy or not. All .net. FFHU HOHZ OLLZ All letters I think. ivnj
I don't think they will have much value in near future, my advice is to purchase them only if you're willing to take somewhat substantial risk and wait on it for some time to come.
Actually I just thought of something. FFHU. Free Forum Hosting. Not sure about the U. But sound like it may work. ivnj
I would say FFHU.net may worth reg fee. But for HOHZ and OLLZ, if you can't find a specific buyer, you will lost your reg fee.
Unless there is meaning there that I am missing I would strongly recommend that you not buy those names. Those are not popular letters. You could buy similar names in .Com for $30 - $40, that means that by the 10% rule those names are worth $3 -$4. each. For starters, avoid any LLLL.net that contains any of these letters: J,K,Q,U,V,W,X,Y, or Z. (F and H are not very good either) Like any rule there are exceptions: Dictionary words Common abreviations and acronyms Three of the same letter and two pair (i.e.: JJJe and JEJE) CVCV (Consonant-Vowel-Consonant-Vowel) I do not know if VCVC have progressed to the point where they would be worthwhile with a "bad" letter in them, but I would doubt it. Personally, if I were interested in the field, (which I am not), I would look at the value of LLLL.coms and see which types of nets I could buy where I could make a profit selling at 1/20th of the .com value - the 10% rule , doubled for the difficulty of selling anything that is not a .com. 10% rule = the aproximation that a .net will sell for one tenth the value of the same name in .com. It is not very accurate, but it is a start.
Thanks for all your input, but I think llll.nets do have potential especially the meaningful, brandable ones. Got some which I'm sure will make some money pretty soon of course not expecting thousands just $XX and possibly $xxx
yep, good point there. Although LLLL.com prices are going up, so for example FFHU.com would be worth over $100 now.
Well, The only good thing for LLLL.net is that you get lucky and a big company wants to buy it because it represents their initials while the .com is taken for another big company that doesn't want to sell. Banks and such...
