I NEED 6,000 Free MEMBERS IN TWO MONTHS!!

Will SEO help me with this?

I own another site, a dating site. And I need 6,000 Free members to join the site. 3,000 in one month and 3,000 the next month.

What do I do to get up there in the results? Who do I hire? Tips? Tricks?

Reason being, I need investors to take the site seriously and take the name up to the next level.

And I know I am going to have to redesign the front page shortly, I figured I'd post a question here. There are some knowledgeable people around...

Is this is a new dating site? Personally I'd hire a bunch of indians to create thousands of fake profiles, as well as working on seo. Nobody will register on a dating site if there isnt already lots of profiles to view. Then once you are established with lots of real members I would go back and delete those fake ones.

i would say make some fake profiles.. then work with some adult sites.. and you should be getting traffic and members..

 

Try using adwords, I'm sure it might help you a lot.

 

Get a bunch of fake profiles and as many real profiles as possible. Get a sign-up buzz going... Then promote the living daylights out of it.

 

Spend a heck of alot of money. I have a dating site that has been up for 3+ years and I have about 2800 sign-ups. (Paid and free). Fake or spend alot of money. I',m not too sure that plentyoffish even gets 3k members a month. I could be wrong. Good luck anyways.

 

If you've never promoted dating on Adwords you'd be quite suprised at the competition in this arena. Its dog eat dog to the 3rd degree. If you arent spending .50 per click, your spending nothing. I get about 1 in 20 that sign for free membership, and about 1 in every 8 - 10 of them people signs for a pay membership. Its a tough crowd out there!

If you want some real Adwords traffic for dating, you would need to go .75 - $1.00 per click.

Thats very generous of you, the only problem with that is if my stats say 6,000 new members this month! And out of those 6k not one paid... its not going to work with the venture capitalists....

If you're spending money in advertising, I would focus the spend in one city to start. It's best to build up the critical mass for one area before going off into others.

 

I think if you have the kind of money to spend then you can start with adwords. Because a dating site will get leads at a very less cost per click. This way you may get the visitors that you want and once you have received some profiles. Then in the meanwhile you can start with Optimization of the site. Apart from that you can also have a mailer designed and shoot that to users email ID's which would also help.

well if you have a lot of time you can create endless profiles with msn.com emails but six thousand will take a while
