    Can I use either of these scripts to make a video site that doesn't allow uploading. Just get the videos from youtube?

    http://www.ooglester.com/ is another one I found by a helping DP friend. It is free and looks nice also.
    This is another alternative option for you.

    You may be right,, looking at the huge differences in the scripts' features which he mentioned and the one I referred to. I realize now, that Ooglester has a different approach and complexity level.

    phpMotion appears suitable for him.

    i think the best script around is phpdirector you dont have to upload the video it is a linking script! and it accepts youtube, googlevideo and dailymotion videos... anyone can put up a link and ofcourse after admin's aproval i can install it for u for $15 since it has a little problem during installation but i can fix it
