I think it's quite obvious. It you're not getting it, I recommend you not try and invest in domain names.

Notthing can be for certain, but my opinion its still going uphill. It has in recent month exploded from being worthless to wanted.

Of course no one can be 100% sure, I think it'll still go up for a couple months, after that slow that and increase at a slower rate.

it really depends on which type of domains they are. if they've got 1-2 vocals than their value would increase a lot. if you've got domains like qwzv - their value won't increase too much.

    Ya, I agree with Nosfer

I think for the next 5 month all LLLL.com will still increase a lot more than normal rate, then after that. The random ones will only increase slowly. The good ones increase faster. But right now is still a good time to buy LLLL.com no matter what kind I think.

It's already the Summer right now where I live :)

However, a 4 letter domain in 6 months during the winter, nobody can predict the exact prices. I'd say they're gonna be worth anything between Low $xx to $xx,xxx, xxx for something like Porn.com

Depends what you mean by low $xx.

By that time the lowest LLLL.com would still probably be at $40-$45 in 6 months that is. (Assuming all crap letters)

So It'll actually be more like mid $xx - low $xx,xxx, xxx.

Of course there'll only be like 1 or 2 in the $xx,xxx, xxx range.

    Hahaha, agreed :)

If you have the patience, obviously it'd be best to hold onto any LLLL.com domain for longer than six months, as they'll continue to go up in time. Even with crap letters, if you wait around long enough you'll get somebody who'll pay you more than most other people.

I think they will increase in value regardless of the letter combination, but the rate of appreciation will depend on the letter quality.

Ya I think that's what everyone's saying. So it's still a great time to buy and hold LLLL.com.

They're already selling pretty well... I just sold my crap ones for like $60 - 80 each.

Don't have any more left though, so am looking at picking some up :p

Outside events can roil the domain market - if there is a recession it could affect domain prices. (- or +)

Beyond that, I have felt for a while that the eventual value of non-word:
Market cap LLLL.com will = Market cap LLL.com.

In other words if the average price for a junky letter LLL.com is $5200 then the average price for a junky letter LLLL.com will move to 1/26th of that: $200. I thought it would take a couple years to get there, considering how many LLLL there are and how attractive a quick flip for 200%, 300%, 500% would be, but we are smashing through those barriers very quickly. But, however long it takes to get there my target price is $200 - more if LLL.coms continue to rise. At that level they will be in balance with the overall domain market.

True premium LLLL.com's will continue to raise in value over the short and long term. The every day junk (collector) LLLL.com market will fall flat in the next 60-90 days IMO. Buy low sell high. Right now LLLL.com's are over inflated IMO. The only reason non premium ex: xzqu are going for over
$8 is because there was a buy out of the remaining 7k or so.

Every 6 months there is a new sector that gets hot and then flames out. It is the same as the stock market (for non premium's). 8 months ago it was LLL.mobi's. 12 months ago it LLL.in's. 18 months ago it was LLL.us. At least with those there are only 17,576. With LLLL.com's there are 45,6976.

Don't fall in love with non-premium domains, there are always more to be had.

    My favorite LLLL chart:

    http://dyyo.com/analysis_remaining.php

This chart shows the remaining available LLLL.coms from January 2006 (about 100K available) through the buyout in early November 2007. The decline in availables is as near to a straight line as you are ever going to see. Projecting the natural demand, as shown on this chart, by fall 2008 there will be a unfilled demand of about 50K for LLLL.coms at reg fee.

No, Virginia, there will not be a LLLL.com dropfest.

I agree on the heating/cooling of markets and there may be a correction, as people recoil from the rapidity of price rises, but LLLL.coms are square in the path of growth in the domain market and still have a long way to go.
