Most of what is going on in the BST forums, can be at best termed as unethical or against the TOS of specific sites. Definitely not illegal.

Yeah i think the same like owner of this thread. If somebody want to trade why not? But everyone must be carefull. There is many scammers because it is paypal system. Paypal give you possiblity to refund money and that is all but why other services like egold and moneybookers must be close also? IT IS NOT FAIR !!!

you are right man exchange is a risky business and every financial business is risky too like (CFD, FOREX , Bources and etc)

but it`s unwise to ban them just for the reason of "Be Risky".

We can't do anything on this. I think the moderators took this step to reduce spammers on the forum.

How does DP generate revenue? If its only through adsense, then a decrease in traffic will affect revenues, since a considerable percentage of the ads shown here are CPM based (going by my adsense revenue share account stats)

it is illegal, it is similar to money laundering, go and read some legislation before complaining.

This does not in ANYWAY protect us from scammers.

If you want to protect us from scammers then dont allow sale of websites, ebooks, website templates, webhosting, vouchers of any kind, Dont allow anyone to use paypal, moneybookers.

Also, to stop scammers dont allow anyone to go on the internet or answer a phone.

This was a terrible move to not allow all these things in DP. Your only pushing us away from being a community and ultimately making DP worse place to come to. Theres lots of webmaster forums.. Should really be careful as to the moves made here.

I don't think this is the correct forum to post, the OP may want to ask one of the Mods to move it to Suggestion and Feedback.

High Risk = High Rewards :D
Fortunately or unfortunately, mods feel the risk reward ratio has become too unfavourable, in the case of currency exchanges ;)

I agree with someone above. There is a A LOT of scamming going down at DP and currency exchange is just a drop in the bucket.

I thought it was the job of the iTrader and Rep system to alert us to scammers.

    Caveat emptor

I would considered it risky, look for money exchange you pay one side, the other side may take the money and run, online wise it is hard to track who is who. VCC results in so many paypal, ebay limited issues and threads. They are protecting us as members we should not complain but be greatful, as least the new peons come in without such risks.

Since I've seen some sellers also getting scammed, I'd suggest
    Caveat emptor + Caveat venditor

If it was about a video game.. we call this type of person a fan boy. Selective hearing/reading ignorant toward any answer other then the one glued in there mind..

I love people that do that endlessly post there same opinion over 20 times on the same thread.
