Maybe you can make currency exchanging more strict but Please don't completely disallow it

Definitely a good move getting rid of those currency trades - they lead to nothing but trouble and are a scammers paradise. Anything to keep the crooks at bay is to be welcomed.

 

Just think of this as a great opportunity for someone to launch a currency exchange forum, with all the pleasures and rewards that would go along with it.

 

I wonder will a PM to every single member be more effective than an announcement? People often fail to read those sticky thread, but everyone read their PM

 

Then they will see it via an infraction in their User CP

And for those asking "please don't disallow it", it's a done deal and not open for discussion. Money trades of any kind are no longer permitted at DP.

 

Excellent. I stopped looking at BST because of all the crap. Maybe I will start to buy again.

 

Hopefully selling of rapid share accounts will be banned to im so sick of seeing these to alot of scammers sell these to.

Announcement are quite bold, it is not just a sticky. There should be no reason not to see it.

I am impressed, these are two good moves to clean up the BST, hopefully, you guys can fix the freebie forum and it will start to be a cleaner section. Creating a sub-forum with no iTrader allowed for under $5 sales and either eliminating or creating a sub forum for digg and stumble exchanges will go a long way in improving things. Hope these topics are on the table.

 

I should say that this is a quite good move by the administrators to protect buyers from scams. Though, this affects my business, I should say it is a good job as this will prevent buyers from being scammed by really low life sellers who spoil the business's name.

Well I guess it is impossible to have stricter rules, as it would soon be looked upon as favouritism and partiality.

I guess it is a brave move by DP, knowing it would decrease traffic and posts, but wanting to protect the users

 

Perhaps there must be a place for reputed members only where they could exchange money (private forum?)

Awesome Change. Most of the money exchanges were done by scammers. We don't want people saying things like there are only scammers in DP. It looks bad.

I was thinking to suggest this way back but got too lazy lol.
